Description

In this sourdough bread making class with a master baker for all levels, you will learn:

  • Learn to create a starter from scratch, along with essential care routines for its maintenance.
  • You will receive a demonstration, on how to shape the dough to achieve beautifully crafted loaves.
  • Create simple cutting techniques to achieve those coveted patterns, giving your bread a professional appearance.
  • We will discuss and utilise various types of grains, and learn how to create a quick version of sourdough.
  • You’ll take home your sourdough loaf part cooked, along with your own dough to cook at home.

What’s included:

  • Tea and coffee will be available throughout the sourdough bread making class
  • Master Baker will bring a sourdough for you to taste.
  • You’ll take home a part made sourdough loaf part enough dough to cook at home..
  • All the equipment you need is provided*
  • Customers can purchase additional drinks
  • You will receive the recipes by email after the class.
  • The added bonus is the washing up is all done for you!

*Bring your own banneton, or you can purchase one on the day. Alternatively, if you prefer not to buy a banneton, you can use a colander lined with a damp towel to transport your dough home.

 

 

Small Print

  • Must redeem voucher on LGE and present REDEEM code to Food Sorcery to book the class
  • Minimum age 16
  • Must book onto the class directly with Food Sorcery in advance
  • No refunds will be given if the class you take is less than the value of the voucher.
  • If upgrading the extra charge is payable direct to the venue at time of booking.
  • Once the event is booked, changes to the date will incur a rearrangement fee

Food Sorcery is a cookery & barista school established in 2016, the purpose built kitchen overlooks the river Mersey and has the benefit of plenty of on site car-parking, and easy transport links.

Location
