Relax and enjoy a hot stone massage at Relax Glasgow. Treatment times are from one hour to 90 minutes full body massage. The hot stone massage incorporates heated basalt stones with traditional massage techniques.
The hot stone massage is performed by using large stones to massage your body while smaller stones are placed between your feet and hands. The heat penetrates deep into your muscles, helping them to relax while promoting more efficient blood flow. Heat also causes blood vessels to dilate, increasing blood flow and speeding the delivery of nutrients to cells. During this exchange, toxins are also carried away more quickly so that they can be eliminated from your system.

These treatments should not be performed on anyone with open wounds or who has had surgery within the last three months. If you have high blood pressure, sensitivity to heat, varicose veins, or are pregnant, hot stone therapy is not recommended for you.
