Listen to the oldest recorded ghost story in the City and explore the secret history of the shadowy side-lanes that make up this extraordinary neighbourhood! Uncover Liverpool’s connections to ‘a frightfully feared’ secret spy during the American Civil War and discover the hidden site of the former headquarters to the American Confederacy. 
 
Ending the immersive tour experience in the oldest morgue in the city, nestled quietly within a medieval garden, hidden beneath the Gothic spire of a floating chapel, entered through a trapdoor- named by Herman Melville himself… ‘The Liverpool Dead House’
