The tour starts, when you are picked up in a luxury vehicle (room for upto to 6 people), from your home or hotel and driven to your first stop, the “River in the Sky”, Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, a World Heritage Site. We won't spoil the surprise for you, but it has the absolute wow factor for everyone. There is a small visitor centre and rest rooms. You can stop for refreshments at the nice floating café and a pub.

Leaving this area close to Llangollen, you then start a scenic drive up the very suitably named “Struggle” on the Horseshoe Pass. You may stop to take photos at the Ponderosa.

The next stop after a drive through the heart of Snowdonia is a visit to the National Slate Museum in Llanberis, to watch a slate splitting demonstration. You will then move on to visit the fishing town of Conwy with its imposing Edwardian Castle. There will be time to explore and enjoy a guided walk and buy refreshments and traditional souvenirs, like Love Spoons or traditional food like Bara Brith.

The final stop on this fun day out is to visit the seaside and Victorian Spa Town of Llandudno, with a drive to the summit of the Great Orme, that has outstanding views across Snowdonia, Anglesey, the Menai Strait and the Irish Sea.
