This experience is aimed at the real 4x4 enthusiast or “Green Laner”. The day starts with a classroom briefing on four-wheel drive systems and is followed by an initial demonstration drive by your instructor. You then have the vehicle to yourself and with your qualified instructor sitting beside you. You’ll gain experience and confidence as the day progresses and having completed the full day experience.

Having completed the full day experience, you will have received training based on a 'Standard BORDA' (British Off-Road Driving Association) qualification. With this activity, if you have anything specific you would like to get from the day, the course can be tailored accordingly.

The Wright Event is one of the most experienced off-road driving operators in the country and is an accredited member of the British Off-Road Driving Association (BORDA). They provide professional training to numerous commercial organisation’s and individuals wanting to experience 4x4 off-road driving as a leisure activity. With their instructor beside you, they ensure that you fully enjoy your driving experience as you tackle slopes you wouldn’t believe were possible. The off-road driving facility provides a challenge for both experienced 4x4 drivers and beginners.

No height or weight limit
Price is per vehicle
Please allow 7 hours (including lunch break) and arrive 15 minutes before your start time.
Available most Saturdays throughout the year, please speak to the centre directly to discuss alternative days.
Excludes lunch
Wear comfortable casual clothing & footwear that you don’t mind getting dirty.
In wet weather a change of clothes is advisable. Waterproofs are provided.
