The Apache Rally Car has been designed to allow you to drive fast, safe and sideways (commonly known as drifting). Drifting in style is a skill that is not only rewarding when achieved, but is exciting to watch and with your instructor sitting beside you, it is a skill that you can try to master.
If indeed you can master the controlled slide, you are in for one of the most exciting pure adrenalin experiences you’ll get. Whilst being a very powerful piece of kit the Apache is incredibly easy to drive and is easily adapted to dual control therefore enabling non-drivers to have a go.

- 90 minute Apache rally car driving
- Please arrive 15 minutes before your start time
- Safety briefing & demonstration
- Maximum of 4 people per Apache Rally Car
- All safety equipment included and waterproofs
- There is a pleasant indoor meeting space and a drink vending machine
NB This activity is weather dependent as is best done in dry conditions. If conditions are not suitable for the Apache Rally cars to run the activity will be swapped for either the Sporting Trials Cars or the Quad Adventure.
The Wright Event was founded by Ian Wright over 29 years ago, when his passion for off road driving became a business providing similar experiences for corporate and private groups. Ian has been crowned national Sporting Trials champion several times between 1995 and 2020. They welcome both individuals and groups looking for thrilling motorised activities and an action-packed day. Try the fast and furious Apache rally car, the challenge of the sporting trials cars, our thrilling 4×4 off-road vehicles or the hugely popular quad bike safaris. Most of their equipment is dual control so if you want to bring the kids and let them join in, they welcome you and the family experience a day to remember. If there’s a group of you they can arrange mid-week activities too.

- Available most Saturdays throughout the year, please speak to the centre directly to discuss alternative days.
- Excludes lunch
- NO dogs allowed
- Wear comfortable casual clothing & footwear that you don’t mind getting dirty.
- In wet weather a change of clothes is advisable. Waterproofs are provided.
