St Patrick’s Day Fun

St Patrick’s Day Fun

Get lucky this St. Patricks Day: A guide to celebrating the Emerald Isles Biggest Holiday

Just keep calm and love Irish on a poster with green pint glass

St Patricks Day is a holiday celebrated around the world. Nowhere more so than in Ireland itself, where it holds the most special place in their proud hearts. We have some St Patrick’s day ideas for you to try out.

The Cliffs of Moher Experience

One of the most iconic symbols of St Patricks Day is the shamrock, legend has it the patron saint used a three leafed plant to explain the concept of the Holy Trinity to Irish people. Recognised worldwide as being a symbol of luck, The Cliffs of Moher, one of Irelands most famous and breath-taking sites.  Find your own lucky shamrock and try a private tour. Remember to wear comfortable shoes and dress appropriately for the weather.

Spa Day

St Patricks Day isn’t just about Guiness parades and shamrock parties, it is also a great opportunity to take a time out and indulge in a little self-care, either on your own, with a partner, friends or family. And what a better way to do that than with a spa day in the Emerald Isle in a private sauna and jacuzzi, having a massage, body scrub or facial. Of course no spa day would be completed without some refreshments. Treat yourself to a glass of bubbly, a herbal green tea and a sorbet after your treatments.

Silver Making

Fancy a little lucky gift  then you can add some elegant Irish Charm to your jewellery collection. This can be subtle or a bold statement piece you choose because you design it. As a beginner myself I love learning new things, whilst having expert tuition on how to make a necklace sounds like a dream. These skills mean you can make your own Shamrock earrings, Celtic knot necklace and more, there is a St Patricks jewellery piece out there for you.

Whisky Tasting

And of course, no St Patricks Day celebration would not be complete without a little drink of the Whisky.  Book a whisky tasting and experience how different cask finishes influence the flavour of your whisky.

Don’t feel like cooking this St Patricks Day, you can celebrate with friends and family with a taste of luxury in your own home. Get dressed up and enjoy the night with a private chef, bespoke menu. The chef will cater to your exact culinary and dietary needs, with a cheese board, canapes, a 3 course dinner and waiting service. An experience you will never forget and want to repeat again and again – remember there are 3 more saints in the year so go for it!

Dine In with a Private Chef
