Kids karting sessions for ages 8 to 15 years at the Three Sisters Circuit, offer twenty minutes of karting fun in their Biz, Honda powered Junior karts. No previous experience is necessary to join in the fun, and Three Sisters Circuit, have two circuits to suit different ages: 8-11 yrs on the Cadet Loop and 12-15 yrs on the Junior Circuit. You can turn up on the day, or, if you would like to reserve a place within a specific session, please specify at time of booking.

At the circuit
Customers are asked to sign-in at reception 30 minutes prior to the published Arrive ‘n’ Drive session. This ensures plenty of time to get into your race gear before attending the mandatory briefing session. If you haven’t pre-booked your session then places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, so queueing should be anticipated on busy days.

Please note that if a driver intends to wear a race helmet provided by the circuit, they are also required to wear a balaclava. Please either bring one with you, or you can purchase one at reception for £2.50.

  • 8-11 yrs: £25 for 20 minutes using Biz 120cc single-engined karts.
    Minimum driver height: 1.2m.
  • 12-15 yrs: £25 for 20 minutes using Biz 160cc single-engined karts.
    Minimum driver height: 1.35m.

The Three Sisters Circuit in Wigan is one of the UK’s most challenging race circuits. The North West’s most challenging outdoor race track and go karting circuit.

Three Sisters Local Nature Reserve, aside from featuring a boating lake and picnic area, also boasts a thriving wildlife wetland. An extensive network of footpaths attracts walkers, cyclists and even horse riders. It is also home to one of the UK’s most exciting race circuits.

Notable motorsport celebrities associated with the circuit include Neil Hodgson, who won the 2000 British Superbike Championship – his first win came in 1990 at the Three Sisters Circuit. The circuit was also one of five to be chosen to host the 2006 season for McLaren Mercedes’ Champions of the Future, a series aimed at creating an environment in which young, aspiring drivers from all backgrounds could excel. The class champions that year were Formula 1 superstar Lewis Hamilton (Cadet), Andrew Delahunty (Yamaha), and German Touring Car champion Gary Paffett (Intercontinental).

Licensed by Motorsport UK and the Auto-Cycle Union (ACU), the Three Sisters outdoor race circuit in Wigan, Lancashire, is less than 45 minutes from Manchester, Liverpool, Warrington, Runcorn, Bolton, Ellesmere Port, Blackburn, Rochdale, Preston and Southport.
