Firth of Forth Evening Sail For Two, a romantic 2.5 hour evening sail under the spectacular Forth Road and Rail Bridges. You will hopefully watch the sunset across Edinburgh and the coast of Fife from the Firth of Forth, on board a luxury catamaran on this evening sailing experience for two. If you fancy a more ‘hands on’ experience, the skipper will let you take the helm and learn the ‘ropes’ as you sail down the Forth.

Upon arrival, you will be greeted by the RYA Yachtmaster, who will show you the ropes of your luxury Catamaran and then enjoy a tea or coffee, before you head out onto the Forth.  As you set sail from the marina, you will cruise past the new Queensferry Crossing, before sailing under the iconic Forth Bridges and then past the Island of Inchgarvie.

You will enjoy a circuit of Inverkeithing Bay, in search of seals, before you sail back up the river towards Port Edgar. Remember to keep an eye out for seals and porpoises, all these creatures native to Scotland call this stretch of water ‘home’.

Sit back, relax and enjoy the views from the luxury of the boat  in the 2.5 hours evening sailing experience, run monthly on a Friday at 18:00, minimum Sea distance 10 nautical miles.

Meet your RYA Yachtmaster who’ll introduce you to the vessel. Sit down for a cup of tea or coffee before departing the harbour and hitting the water.

As you sail out, you’ll pass under the world-famous Forth Rail Bridge. Built in the 1890s, the bridge is considered one of the preeminent engineering feats of the Victorian era. Keep an eye out for the local seals and unparalleled views of the Edinburgh skyline as you cruise around Inchgarvie Island before making your way back to Port Edgar Marina. Sit back and relax or get a little more hands-on, the skipper will let you take the helm as you sail down the Forth.
