Picnics

A picnic is a great adventure, no matter your age or your tastes.  Pack up a blanket, a bat and ball and some of your favourite food and you can have a fantastic outing.  You can even add some fizz for the adults.  Hit the beach, a local beauty spot or even your own garden.  Don’t forget the sunscreen, mosquito cream/spray and hats!

Hill Walking

Hill-walking as a family is great activity for both parents and children, it can be a great way to get your kids out in the fresh air, and give them a sense of freedom and adventure adventure post lockdown. It can also be a great photo opportunity for any budding photographers. The great news when out in the hills all day, they will likely come home and fall asleep.

Camping

With many campsites now re-opening and and staycation looking popular this summer, why not have a real family adventure.  Leave the electronics at home, pack up the car and get away for a night or two, the kids will love sleeping outdoors and even if you can’t get away set a tent up in the garden and let stay out all night! You don’t have to travel for an adventure.
